Vineel Sompalli, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I., Originally from India is Board certified in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiology. He is one of the busiest Interventional Cardiologists in Orlando, with over 6000 coronary and peripheral vascular interventions in the last ten years all while practicing at multiple Institutions in several States throughout the Nation.
Dr. Sompalli was the first Cardiologist to perform Angioplasty and Stenting in Carol County, Georgia; as well as one of the principal investigators for C-port Trial (Angioplasty without on-site bypass surgery).
Dr. Sompalli is trained as well in Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography and aesthetic venous procedures.
He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
Dr. Sompalli has dedicated over 18 years practice between hospitals in the Orlando area, throughout the Nation and his private practice.
For the convenience of his patients, Dr. Sompalli is now focused on practicing privately at the multiple locations his group has to offer as well performing cardiovascular procedures at his private outpatient facility.
All the Cardiologists and electrophysiologists’ that forms his group continue to render services at Florida Hospital Orlando, Florida Hospital East Orlando, Florida Hospital Memorial and at Orlando Heart & Vascular Center locations.
Recently, Dr. Sompalli and the five physicians that form his team have joined Oviedo Hospital expanding all the experience and care they have to offer to a larger community in Orlando and its surroundings.
Dr. Sompalli enjoys traveling around the world, reading and spending time with family, friends and his two beloved dogs.
