Attorney & Director of Business Development

Orlando's Attorneys of the Year 2026
Jessica Safford

Jessica Safford has built her career around an idea: connecting people with resources, relationships and guidance they need to move forward. Her passion for service began while attending law school in Lansing, Michigan, where she served as student director of Service to Soldiers, a program connecting deployed service members with pro bono attorneys. The experience shaped a commitment to helping others access support. She strengthened that mission while practicing at Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida during the COVID-19 pandemic, when individuals and families faced an urgent need for legal assistance and community resources.

A licensed attorney in Central Florida for 13 years, Safford is proud to call the region home. She is raising her two young children, and she values the community, opportunities and relationships that have shaped her. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and business administration from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point before receiving her J.D. from Western Michigan Cooley Law School, where she earned Honor Roll recognition.

Today, Safford serves as Attorney and Director of Business Development for Morgan & Morgan’s Business Trial Group, where she builds relationships with attorneys, clients and partners. Drawing on her background, she connects individuals and businesses with the firm’s resources, focusing on construction defect and professional liability matters. Active in the Orange County Bar Association, Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Seminole County Florida Association of Women Lawyers and the Community Association Institute of Southeast Florida, where she serves as Events Committee Chair, Safford believes success is measured by relationships, impact and service to others. Her philosophy is rooted in being present, creating connections and giving back to the community she is proud to call home.
