Ileana is a Partner at Pearson Mohre Pastis Christianson & McNeil, where she practices business litigation and insurance defense. Born in León, Nicaragua, she immigrated to the United States at age six with her family, embracing the opportunities that shaped her path. The youngest of nine, she developed resilience and leadership early, inspired by her family’s journey and her father’s service in the U.S. Army. Her passion for advocacy began in childhood through student government, serving as Governor of Girls’ State and theatre, where she discovered her ability to lead and help others solve problems. She served as student body president for her high school, at the University of Miami, and at Boston College Law School.
Her leadership continued professionally, including serving as president of the Southern District of Florida Bankruptcy Bar Association. Since 2008, she has represented clients throughout Florida, building a reputation rooted in relationships and results. Christianson believes true success is measured by positive impact. She leads her team with a collaborative mindset, emphasizing mentorship and shared achievement. Known for her responsiveness and genuine care, she prioritizes human connection in every aspect of her work, forming lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel. Throughout her career, Ileana has been recognized by Legal Aid, Daily Business Review, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Super Lawyers, and America’s Top Litigators to name a few.
Outside of her practice, she is devoted to her husband of 20 years and their three children, supporting their many activities and prioritizing family time. Recently, she was added to the law firm’s name. Christianson continues to lead with purpose, encouraging others to build meaningful connections, and lead with integrity while remaining grounded in service.
