Dr Erich T Wyckoff is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist specializing in complex minimally invasive gynecology surgery at Osceola Gynecology in Orlando Florida. Born in Alexander City Alabama and raised partly in New York he developed an early passion for science and decided in elementary school to pursue medicine. Growing up in a household of women shaped his lifelong commitment to womens health guiding his path to obstetrics and gynecology.
My training reinforced surgical focus after exposure to operative gynecology in medical school and residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham and Wright State University. He served on faculty at University of South Florida and University of Florida becoming a leader in robotic minimally invasive gynecology. His philosophy is operate with skill decide with wisdom and always put patient first.
He defines success as putting good into the world daily. He begins each day with stretching push ups and prayer then sees patients from eight to five through surgery clinic and teaching. He values family with his wife a nurse practitioner in urology and their three children whom he delivered. In Orlando he appreciates its diversity and family friendly lifestyle.
He has served in academic leadership roles including faculty positions and robotic surgery direction and mentors medical students and residents. He is active in philanthropy volunteer service through church fraternity and health organizations. His achievements include teaching awards and contributions to minimally invasive surgery. Outside medicine he enjoys travel basketball and life experiences including being a former DJ and international cultural experiences. He is committed to advancing Osceola Gynecology as a regional robotic center of excellence while viewing patient care as an honor and privilege every single day consistently.
