Dr. Tanya Haber is a board-certified internal medicine physician whose approach to healthcare is rooted in connection, compassion, and personalized care. Born in Windsor, Ontario, and raised in Grand Blanc, Michigan, she felt called to medicine from an early age and has spent her life pursuing that purpose. Today, she leads Haber Healthcare, an exclusive internal medicine practice affiliated with MDVIP, where she provides a highly personalized, membership-based approach focused on prevention, longevity, and whole-person wellness.
Her educational journey began at the University of Michigan, where she earned her undergraduate degree before attending Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency training at the Genesis Family Practice Residency Program in Michigan and launched her career as a hospitalist in a high-acuity Miami medical center. Those early experiences sharpened her clinical expertise while reinforcing a belief that exceptional medicine requires both technical excellence and meaningful human connection.
After returning to Florida in 2006 with her husband and growing family, Dr. Haber settled in Central Florida and built a career serving patients throughout the Orlando area. Over time, she realized her vision of creating a practice centered on deeper relationships, greater accessibility, and truly individualized care. Her guiding philosophy is simple: “I want my patients to feel cared for, not processed.” Through extended appointments, same-day availability, and a limited patient panel, she creates an environment where patients feel heard, valued, and genuinely supported.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Haber embraces a lifestyle centered on wellness, family, and lifelong learning. She enjoys cycling, Pilates, reading, skincare innovation, and planning international adventures with her husband and two daughters. She is also passionate about mentoring future physicians, welcoming medical students into her practice to experience relationship-driven healthcare firsthand. Whether caring for patients, supporting students, or spending time with loved ones, Dr. Haber remains committed to living with intention, leading with empathy, and helping others achieve healthier, more fulfilling lives.
