Stepping into Rajeunir Concierge MD felt like entering a space where wellness and intention truly meet. I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Damona Emami and her wonderful team and experiencing one of the treatments firsthand. From the moment I walked in, I was met with warmth, and an immediate sense that I was in great hands. But as I learned more about Dr. Emami and the philosophy behind Rajeunir, it became clear that there is much more to the practice than aesthetics alone. Her approach brings beauty, wellness, and personalized care together in a way that feels thoughtful and intentional, and that philosophy is reflected throughout the experience.

The office itself is bright and airy, with different spaces dedicated to injectables, facial treatments, lasers, and more. You can tell Dr. Emami has put a lot of love into creating the space, but even more so into the philosophy behind it. Here, beauty is not about changing the way you look. It is about feeling refreshed, confident, and cared for from the inside out.

And after a long Florida summer, a little refresh may be exactly what our skin is asking for.

While fall in Florida does not necessarily arrive with crisp air and sweater weather, our skin has still endured months of intense sunshine, humidity, heat, and sweat. According to Dr. Emami, that can show up as “hyperpigmentation and uneven tone, dehydration, congestion and acne flare-ups, excess oil and sweat-related irritation, and a dull or tired-looking complexion.”

Her answer is to start by giving the skin a reset.

One of Rajeunir’s go-to treatments for doing just that is the AquaFirme medical-grade facial, which deeply cleanses, exfoliates, and hydrates the skin while infusing it with plant-based exosome serum. Dr. Emami says the treatment can “replenish moisture, support collagen production, improve radiance, and help address the visible effects of prolonged heat and sun exposure without downtime.”

I had the AquaFirme facial done during my visit. It was relaxing, refreshing, and exactly what my dehydrated skin needed. The warmth of the ULTRA handpiece felt incredibly soothing while helping the serum absorb into my skin, while the subtle vibration and red light from the EXO2 helped stimulate circulation. Between the hydration and exfoliation, my skin felt revived, and I could see a fresh, healthy glow right away.

For those wanting to take their fall refresh even further, Dr. Emami often recommends a customized combination of a chemical peel, AquaFirme facial, and microneedling. Each plays a different role. A chemical peel helps with exfoliation, cellular turnover, discoloration, and uneven tone. AquaFirme restores hydration and radiance. Microneedling stimulates the body’s natural collagen production to improve texture, fine lines, and firmness.

“What makes this combination so effective is that it addresses multiple layers of skin health,” she explains, from “exfoliation and pigment correction at the surface” to deep hydration, nourishment, and collagen stimulation beneath the skin.

But Dr. Emami’s approach to beauty does not stop at the skin.

Beauty, From the Inside Out

At Rajeunir, aesthetics and overall wellness are not treated as two separate conversations. “We view skin health as a reflection of overall health,” Dr. Emami says.

Nutrition, hydration, sleep, stress, hormonal balance, inflammation, metabolic health, and lifestyle habits can all influence the quality of our skin. That is why she believes lasting results rarely come from a single treatment alone. When the body is properly nourished, rested, hydrated, and supported, she says patients can experience “improved healing, more resilient skin, and results that look naturally refreshed rather than overtreated.”

Even something as simple as replenishing hydration after months of Florida heat can make a difference. For some patients, Rajeunir may incorporate IV hydration with vitamins into a personalized wellness plan. At home, Dr. Emami recommends keeping things surprisingly simple: gentle cleansing, consistent hydration, products suited to your individual concerns, and the one Florida beauty rule that does not change with the seasons.

“Sunscreen is not seasonal. It is essential every day, all year long in Florida.”

A Different Kind of Approach

That whole person philosophy is also what led Dr. Emami from traditional medicine into aesthetic and wellness care.

“My background as a physician has always centered on helping patients feel healthier, more confident, and supported throughout their care,” she says. Over time, she found herself increasingly drawn to a field where medical expertise could intersect with prevention, rejuvenation, and personalized wellness.

She also noticed that patients were looking for something beyond the traditional med spa experience. “They wanted thoughtful guidance, natural looking results, and care that considered how they felt, not only how they looked.”

So she created it.

Her vision for Rajeunir was a physician led concierge environment where patients are not rushed through appointments and treatments are not approached as one size fits all solutions. “Every patient deserves to feel heard, understood, and never rushed,” she says.

For Dr. Emami, that extra time is one of the most rewarding differences from traditional medicine, where physicians may have only 15 or 20 minutes with each patient. At Rajeunir, she has the opportunity to spend more time listening, getting to know her patients, understanding what they want, and developing individualized plans around their skin, health history, lifestyle, and goals.

“Our focus is not on changing who someone is, but on helping them look refreshed, healthy, and confident in a way that feels authentic to them.”

And that philosophy feels especially fitting at a time when the beauty industry itself is shifting.

The Future Looks a Lot More Natural

If the future of aesthetics has a theme, Dr. Emami believes it is less transformation and more restoration.

She is particularly excited about developments in regenerative and personalized aesthetic medicine, including collagen stimulating treatments, biostimulatory injectables, microneedling technologies, energy-based devices, and regenerative topical therapies.

“The future is moving beyond simply treating visible signs of aging toward supporting the skin’s natural ability to repair, renew, and maintain healthy function over time,” she explains.

She also expects the connection between beauty and whole-body wellness to grow considerably over the next five to ten years, with treatment plans increasingly considering not only someone’s skin concerns, but their health history, goals, biology, and overall wellness.

“The future of beauty will be less about dramatic transformation and more about prevention, restoration, and confidence.”

Her advice is to focus on feeling healthy and confident rather than chasing perfection, to nourish your body, care for your mental wellbeing, stay hydrated, get enough sleep, wear your sunscreen, and choose treatments that enhance rather than change your natural features.

“The most beautiful results are those that help you look refreshed, feel empowered, and remain authentically yourself.”

And perhaps that is the best kind of fall reset there is.
