Owner of Beechner Mediation & Consultation Services
For more than 26 years, Laurie Beechner has built a distinguished legal career defined by analytical thinking, strategic leadership, and an unwavering commitment to helping others solve complex challenges. Now, as the founder of Beechner Mediation & Consultation Services, she is embracing a new chapter focused on conflict resolution, mediation, and business consulting. A Florida Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, Beechner brings decades of litigation, negotiation, and corporate leadership experience to clients seeking practical solutions and thoughtful guidance.
Originally from Syracuse, New York, Beechner moved to Orlando as a teenager and has proudly called Central Florida home ever since. After earning degrees in chemistry and history from Stetson University and a law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law, she began her legal career in New York before returning to Orlando. Her professional journey included positions with respected defense litigation firms before joining SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, where she spent 16 years and ultimately served as Deputy General Counsel, Senior Vice President of Litigation, and Assistant Corporate Secretary, overseeing complex litigation and legal strategy across multiple jurisdictions.
Today, Beechner combines that extensive experience with a client-centered philosophy rooted in excellence, preparation, and service. Her personal mantra—”Always strive for perfection and settle for greatness”—reflects her belief that success is a continual journey built on hard work, meaningful relationships, and consistently providing value. Whether mediating disputes or advising businesses on internal investigations and corporate protocols, she approaches every matter with integrity, precision, and genuine care.
Beyond the office, family remains at the heart of everything she does. She and her husband recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with their two children. A dedicated community advocate, Beechner also serves on the Board of Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida, reflecting her belief that true success is measured not only by professional accomplishments but by the positive impact made on others.
