The Elder Law Center of Kirson & Fuller

Heather C. Kirson and Patricia T. Fuller created The Elder Law Center of Kirson and Fuller in 2011 as a boutique law firm specializing in elder law, with a goal of providing top notch legal advice, while providing work-life balance for the staff. Ms. Kirson continues to lead the firm with her knowledge and experience as a Florida Bar Board Certified Elder Law Attorney.  The firm practices exclusively in the area of elder law:  Medicaid Planning, VA Planning, Guardianship, Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, Special Needs and Planning for Disability.

What sets Ms. Kirson apart is her dedication to providing the highest quality legal services with compassion and understanding. Ms. Kirson leads the firm in placing clients’ needs first.  This client-centric approach has led to the firm’s continued success and growth. Heather and her team believe in integrity, sincerity, and professionalism in everything they do.

Ms. Kirson was born and raised in a farming community in Eastern Washington State.  She credits this upbringing for her strong work ethic.  Heather has called Winter Park home for over 25 years. Heather is a graduate of Rollins College and Florida A&M College of Law.  Prior to practicing law,

Ms. Kirson was an associate geriatric care manager. Ms. Kirson is an attorney who cares about the community. Her professional and personal philosophy includes giving back in ways that make a meaningful difference.  Heather frequently speaks throughout the greater Orlando area on issues associated with Long-Term Care Planning, including Medicaid and VA Benefits, Estate Planning and Special Needs Trusts.  As a Florida Bar Board Certified Elder Law Attorney, Heather C. Kirson is an advocate for elders and individuals with special needs. Heather has also been a longtime supporter of Best Buddies. Heather served on the Best Buddies Board for many years and in 2017 she participated in their annual Champion of the Year campaign. Champion of the Year unites and recognizes the community’s most active leaders in the name of inclusion. The Elder Law Center of Kirson and Fuller recently hired a part-time employee through the Best Buddies Jobs Program.

Over the years Heather has served on many boards and committees and has received numerous accolades. It has been an honor for Ms. Kirson to serve as a member of the Executive Committee of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, former co-chair of the Medicaid Committee for the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and former co-chair of the Elder Law Committee of the Orange County Bar Association.  Heather was named one of Super Lawyers Rising Stars in 2017 and named Florida Super Lawyers in 2018 and 2019.
