Dr. Anthony M. Fernandez is a board certified anesthesiologist whose distinguished career represents a vital bridge between high-acuity clinical intervention and the evolving frontier of functional medicine. With over 25 years of extensive clinical experience, Dr. Fernandez has cultivated an elite understanding of human physiology.
He earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a rigorous anesthesiology residency and fellowship training in pediatric anesthesia at Yale New Haven Hospital. This training required comprehensive mastery of the body’s vital organ systems – skills he further sharpened during his tenures at Hartford Hospital, NYU Langone Long Island Hospital, and AdventHealth. Working alongside elite surgical teams, he gained firsthand insight of the complexities of human health, sparking a lifelong fascination with longevity and cellular renewal.
Although highly accomplished in traditional medical practice, Dr. Fernandez identified a persistent limitation in modern healthcare: a focus on symptom management rather than addressing root causes. Determined to offer a more complete and preventative approach, he continues to pursue advanced training in functional medicine. This expanded framework allows him to combine evidence-based western medicine with a proactive, systems-based philosophy focused on long-term vitality.
This vision led to the founding of Wellness Reboot, in Lake Mary, Florida. As co-founder, Dr. Fernandez incorporates advanced EBOO (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation) therapy- an innovative modality designed to support detoxification, immune function, and cellular health. He believes optimal healing requires a synergy of cutting-edge biotechnology and individualized care.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Fernandez is a devoted husband and father of eight. He understands that everyone deserves to thrive, not merely survive. By blending the strategic discipline of a chess player with the energy he brings to the tennis court, Dr. Fernandez remains committed to helping his patients reach their peak potential at every stage of life.
