Dr Alana L. McGee, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist providing comprehensive women’s healthcare in Orlando, Florida. since joining Women’s Care in 2013, she has been committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care to women throughout Central Florida. Her clinical expertise includes obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, infertility evaluation, management of perimenopause and menopause, and long-term preventive acre across all stages of life.
Dr. McGee earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, magna cum lauded, from The Ohio State University, reflecting her strong academic foundation and early dedication to science and medicine. She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where she developed a focused passion for women’s health. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies in 2013, gaining advanced training in reproductive healthcare, complex obstetrics, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dr. McGee was inspired by medicine from an early as, as the daughter of an orthopedic surgeon. Accompanying her father on hospital rounds offered early exposure to patient care and shaped her professional values. As the oldest of five siblings, she has long embraced leadership, with two siblings also pursuing careers in medicine.
Dr. McGee chose obstetrics and gynecology for the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients. She provides comprehensive obstetric care, including co-management oh high risk pregnancies, routine and preventative gynecologic services, and family planning support. She is board-certified by the American Board of Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Outside of practice, she enjoys time with family and friends and has a passion for dancing, bringing warmth and balance to her care.
