Attend the Artist Talk by Saúl Hernández-Vargas on March 3, 2026, at 6 pm in person or via livestream — registration is required. Interdisciplinary artist Saúl Hernández-Vargas explores memory, displacement, heritage, and place across sculpture, performance, writing, and installation, creating work that evokes histories often overlooked in dominant narratives. Currently a Core Fellow at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Hernández-Vargas has exhibited at institutions such as the Houston Climate Justice Museum and the Contemporary Art Museum of Houston, and his work has been featured internationally. In this talk at Rollins Museum of Art, he’ll share insights on pieces in the exhibition Souvenir and his broader practice engaging with cultural narratives and material histories.
