Celebrating 20 years of GI care in Orlando, Dr. Srinivas Seela and Dr. Harinath Sheela have set the benchmark for compassionate and patient-centered care and earned recognition as Doctors of the Year 2026.
As founding partners of Digestive and Liver Center of Florida and the Endo-Surgical Centers of Florida, Dr. Seela and Dr. Sheela, both of whom earned their gastroenterology and digestive diseases fellowships from Yale University School of Medicine, continue to architect the growth of a continuum of GI care facilities with a constant focus on innovative patient care in a sophisticated medical environment.
Their most recent and revolutionary advancement in state-of-the-art facilities presents patients with 7 a.m.–7 p.m., 365 days per year GI care at the GI Urgent Care of Florida. Transforming the way patients receive emergent GI healthcare, the model replaces high cost and long wait times at hospital emergency rooms and ensures timely services from GI specialists. Clinicians at GI Urgent Care of Florida utilize a full range of procedures and screening options, from labs and diagnostic imaging (CT and ultrasound) to infusion therapy and procedures to assess and treat GI problems.
Beyond clinical practice, both physicians are dedicated advocates for preventive care and community health, actively supporting initiatives that promote awareness, early intervention, and equitable access to quality healthcare services. Dr. Seela and Dr. Sheela are respected mentors and leaders within the medical profession.
