After earning her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Dr. Sylora completed residencies in both general surgery (Finch University of Health Sciences) and plastic surgery (Wayne State University), as well as a breast and aesthetic fellowship at The Institute for Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at Baptist Hospital, where she trained under world-renowned plastic surgeons in Nashville, TN.
Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery—the only plastic surgery board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties—Dr. Sylora has also been recognized as a Top Plastic Surgeon by Consumers’ Checkbook and as one of America’s Top Plastic Surgeons by the Consumers Research Council of America. As stunning as her patients’ results look from the outside, it’s the consequent internal transformations that make Dr. Sylora so passionate about what she does. “I have seen many people bloom after being able to address the issues which were undermining their confidence,” she explains.
Another one of Dr. Sylora’s specialties is the “deep plane facelift,” an innovative, technically challenging procedure that requires a high level of surgical skill. A deep plane facelift changes and enhances the structure of the face by redistributing fat, correcting eye droop, and restoring volume to the mid-face area, allowing for a much more youthful appearance. As the owner of the Institute of Aesthetic Surgery, with offices in both Celebration and Winter Park, Dr. Sylora works alongside a talented team of aesthetic providers who share her dedication to making every patient feel comfortable, informed, and beautiful, both inside and out.
