Dr. Mark Palazzolo is a physician executive with over 20 years of experience in women’s healthcare. He is the co-founder of Women’s Health Centers, one of the largest and most established OB/GYN practices in Central Florida, serving patients across nine locations with a multidisciplinary team of nearly 40 providers.
In addition to comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, Dr. Palazzolo has a specific clinical interest in perimenopause and menopause management, emphasizing individualized, evidence-based treatment strategies that include bioidentical hormone optimization when appropriate. “Menopause care is my second favorite thing to do,” he says. “The difference we can make in a woman’s quality of life at this stage is truly remarkable. Of course, my first favorite thing will always be helping bring new life into the world.”
Women’s Health Centers provides the full spectrum of OB/GYN services, including obstetrics, minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgery, in-office procedures, contraception, adolescent gynecology, and menopause care. The practice is known for its integrated, patient-centered model, offering coordinated care across multiple locations to meet the needs of women at every stage of life.
Under Dr. Palazzolo’s leadership, Women’s Health Centers earned national recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Patient-Centered Specialty Practice, reflecting excellence in access, coordination, and consistently high patient satisfaction and experience scores.
Beyond private practice, Dr. Palazzolo serves as Chief Executive Officer of OB/GYN Hospitalist Services of Central Florida, leading 24/7 OB/GYN Hospitalist programs across multiple regional hospitals. These programs have achieved top-tier patient experience scores in Labor and Delivery, underscoring a culture centered on safety, compassion, and quality.
He also serves as Chief of the Medical Staff at UCF HCA Lake Nona Hospital and previously served as the Founding Program Director of the UCF HCA Osceola Hospital OB/GYN Residency Program, helping establish academic excellence and train future physician leaders.
