Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
For Orlando native Dr. HongAn “Mimi” Nguyen, pediatric dentistry isn’t just a profession, it’s a heartfelt way to give back to the community that raised her. Since immigrating to Florida, Dr. Nguyen has planted deep roots in the Sunshine State. A proud “Triple Gator,” she earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology, Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), and Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Florida. She also holds a Master’s in Medical Sciences from the University of South Florida and Bachelor’s in Health Science from the University of Central Florida.
Recognized early in her career with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s Predoctoral Student Award, today she is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Her clinical focus encompasses preventive care, early intervention, behavior management, sedation dentistry, and treating children with special needs. After serving families throughout Lake, Orange, Seminole, and Volusia counties, she proudly opened her practice in Baldwin Park.
Dr. Nguyen believes every child deserves a joyful, comfortable dental experience. Through her gentle approach, she builds lasting trust with young patients while helping families establish lifelong healthy habits.
Her commitment to service extends beyond her office doors. She frequently volunteers with the Florida Mission of Mercy and has led dental outreach trips to underserved areas. Dr. Nguyen is also an active member of the ADA, AAPD, FDA, FAPD, and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Mimi loves traveling and discovering culinary gems with her husband, Junichi, their two sons, Enzo and Kenji, and their Bernedoodle, Harley.
Whether serving as a clinician, mentor, volunteer, or mother, she brings unwavering dedication to every role. To her patients, she is simply “Dr. Mimi,” the warm, familiar face making every child’s visit brighter and helping them build the confidence to smile for years to come.
