For Dr. Alec Gonzalez, technical precision provides the foundation, while artistry brings the result to life. Orlando has long been home for Dr. Gonzalez, who attended Bishop Moore Catholic High School before becoming a Division I athlete at Temple University, where he earned his undergraduate and dental degrees. He later earned a master’s degree in molecular biology from Villanova University. Over 16 years, extensive postgraduate training in implant and reconstructive dentistry has shaped his approach to complex cases.
A Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Dr. Gonzalez focuses on implant, cosmetic and comprehensive dentistry, allowing even complex treatment to be managed in one familiar practice.
Recently, a patient came to Premier Dental with a heavily restored smile that no longer looked or felt natural. Dr. Gonzalez redesigned it with equal attention to appearance, comfort and function. Seeing the patient’s emotional reaction to his new smile was a powerful reminder that the most rewarding transformations go far beyond dentistry.
But Dr. Gonzalez believes expertise means little without trust. Patients often remark that previous dentists had never taken the time to explain their dental health so thoroughly. Modern technology helps patients see what he sees and understand not only what he recommends, but why. That philosophy is especially meaningful for anxious patients. Although sedation is available, Dr. Gonzalez sees it as a bridge rather than the destination.
