When successful people and their spouses need a divorce lawyer, experience and reputation really do matter!

Jennifer C. Frank is honored to be recognized by Orlando Style Magazine this month as Women Who Make a Difference.

Jennifer is a Florida Bar Board Certified Marital and Family Law attorney and has been handling family law matters since 1994. Only 6% of licensed Florida attorneys are Board Certified. Jennifer manages Frank Family Law Practice, which has a busy Collaborative Family Law, mediation, and divorce litigation practice.

Jennifer is a seasoned trial attorney with over 23 years of courtroom experience. There is no shortage of family law attorneys advertising they are “aggressive” and willing to “fight in court” for their clients. But experienced and reputable attorneys and judges know some important truths: court is the very last place a divorcing family belongs; courts are ill-equipped to solve the problems of divorcing families; and the very best family law attorneys put their experience to use educating their clients, carefully analyzing the facts, knowing the law, working to reduce anxiety and animosity, and problem solving.

Jennifer’s compassion, experience, knowledge, and intuition allows her to be a highly effective family law attorney for her clients and their families. Jennifer is engaged in the very best form of advocacy: building a trusting relationship with clients, working cooperatively with other attorneys, maintaining an excellent reputation and credibility within the legal community, and working hard to find solutions to the unique problems each case presents.

A large piece of Jennifer’s family law practice includes Collaborative Law cases. The Collaborative resolution model allows families to enter the divorce process with a specially trained team consisting of two lawyers (one for each spouse), a neutral mental health professional, and a neutral financial professional. Jennifer’s successful clients are often drawn to this process in order to avoid the unknowns of court, to maintain a certain level of privacy, and to tackle complex issues with as much civility and dignity as possible.

Jennifer knows the Collaborative Process works and she believes it represents the very future of Family Law.

Jennifer is a Florida Certified Family Law Mediator with a busy mediation practice. As a mediator, Jennifer helps spouses and their lawyers explore and develop creative and workable solutions. She is committed to providing parties and their attorneys the necessary time and space needed so that all aspects of their Agreement are fully understood before signing.

Jennifer has been an active member within her legal community and has held several leadership roles over the years. She is a wife and the mother of a very active and adventurous 8-year-old girl. Jennifer grew up in West Lafayette, Indiana. She attended Western Michigan University on a music scholarship and studied both piano and political science. She then attended the University of Miami School of Law, graduating in 1994 when she started her career as a family law attorney.
