Rajan Joshi was born in White Plains, New York. He and his family moved to Central Florida when he was just a toddler. His father is a well-respected, Doctor of Internal Medicine, and his mother is an amazing and loving, homemaker. Rajan has three siblings, all of which are professionals in the medical field, like their father. Rajan, however, followed his dream to become a lawyer. Having grown up in Central Florida, Rajan has made many lifelong friends and contacts, whom he cherishes. Rajan is active in the Indian community and is a member of the Indian American Chamber of Commerce.

Rajan graduated with Honors from the University of Florida – College of Law in 2000, and scored among the Top Five Highest Scores in the 2000 Florida Bar Exam. He immediately began his legal career, as a prosecutor, in Jacksonville. During his last two years there, he was assigned to the repeat offender court; designed to prosecute career criminals, and was awarded the Jury Trial Award, in 2003, for trying the most cases in the entire Circuit.

In 2004, Rajan resigned from the State Attorneys Office and joined a prestigious, AV-rated (top rated) law firm, for two years, and handled all types of criminal cases. Although Rajan was enjoying tremendous success, professionally, in Jacksonville, he returned home to Central Florida to be close to his friends and family.

Shortly after Rajan returned to Central Florida, he joined the prestigious NeJame Law Firm. His legal talents and skills were quickly recognized, and in less than a year he became a Partner with the firm, where he remained for over 8 years before resigning. In 2015, Rajan opened his own firm, the Joshi Law Firm, located in Orlando, where his tremendously experienced legal team treats their clients with the utmost care and professionalism.

Rajan Joshi has received multiple prestigious awards and recognition in his profession, where he has handled and tried thousands of criminal cases, in both State and Federal Court, for offenses including, but not limited to, countless DUIs, Drug Charges, Sex Crimes, Theft, White Collar Crimes, Racketeering and Homicides. Rajan Joshi has handled many high-profile cases that have received local and national media attention. He has been interviewed and given commentary on the Today Show, CNN and multiple media stations within Central Florida.

Rajan enjoys playing chess, as he has played almost his entire life. He also enjoys training in Muay Thai and other mixed martial arts.

The most important part of Rajan’s life, however, is his handsome and gifted 11-year old son, Arjun, and his brilliant and beautiful wife, Dr. Tracey Nguyen-Joshi, founder of He treasures his family time and knows the importance of balancing it all.
