In 2017, the Mid Florida Institute of Plastic Surgery in Altamonte Springs officially opened, featuring a prestigious plastic surgery team along with brand new state-of-the-art body contouring, light, and laser equipment. We are honored to have the accomplished facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Christopher Savage, MD, FACS as the Director of Cosmetics & Plastic Surgery. Also on staff is the well-known former president of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Dr. James Baker, MD and the skillful face and body plastic surgeon Dr. David Plank, MD. We also have board certified dermatologists that excel in providing non-surgical and less invasive cosmetic dermatology services such as lasers and injectables. Whatever your concern, our team is here to provide consultations and recommend your optimal aesthetic treatment to enhance and improve your appearance.
Furthermore, to better address more specific needs of our growing patient base, allergist Dr. Santiago Martinez, MD and former committee member for the American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology, joined our team. Soon after, he was joined by the multi lingual Dr. Neil Parikh, MD in seeing both adults and pediatrics at our Goldenrod office location. They both specialize in identifying and treating allergies and in providing ongoing asthma therapy.
Also last year, our founder Dr. Michael Gutierrez, MD, was honored to join Florida State University Medical School’s faculty as an Associate Professor of Dermatology where he prides himself on preparing future physicians for success. He is also proud to be working with students from the University of Central Florida’s Medical School as they prepare to serve the Orlando community and abroad.
