Area Manager for Prospect Mortgage
Laurence Heisler is the Area Manager for Prospect Mortgage, one of the largest independent residential mortgage lenders in the US. He has been in the mortgage business for 18 years, and has owned Liberty Mortgage Group for 14 years.
Laurence’s experience started as a Mortgage Broker in 1996. After 3 years working for a correspondent lender (2K Mortgage), he opened Liberty Mortgage Group and quickly grew it to 3 locations and 60 employees. Having run his own company helped him realize the importance of keeping the client happy. Laurence has always based his business model off of referrals, so the best way to accomplish that is to assure a great experience for his clients.
Today’s lending environment poses many challenges for clients. Lenders have tightened up their guidelines, so it is vital to know all of the programs and to continue educating yourself with changes that take place almost daily. Laurence enjoys the challenge, and has always prided himself in his ability to solve issues and assure his clients will be in the right loan program for themselves and their family.
Prospect Mortgage offers a vast array of programs for every level of borrowers, from first-time homebuyers to renovation loans to sophisticated investors. They are on the forefront of technology, which allows Laurence to keep his clients and referral partners informed throughout the entire process. Prospect Mortgage offers competitive rates and service unparalleled in the industry. They also have an incredible platform called Home Buyer’s Marketing (HBM) for Realtors and potential buyers to search for homes.
Sports have been a huge part of Laurence’s life, and he has taken what he has learned on the playing field to the office. He has always been a team player, and a big part of his success has been attributed to surrounding himself with a great team. Laurence played baseball in college (UCF) and went on to play with the Philadelphia Phillies for 3 years in the minor leagues. He also played for the Greek Olympic Baseball Team in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.
Outside of work, Laurence enjoys golfing, snow skiing and spending time with his family. Laurence and his wife Stefani are getting ready to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary. Together they have two children, Mallori (11) and Jacob (7).
