Criminal Defense & Personal Injury

Ken Eulo is a founding member of the Smith & Eulo Law Firm and graduated in the top ten percent of his class at Florida State University, College of Law. At FSU Law, Ken received cum laude honors and the prestigious Order of the Coif award. Upon graduation, he passed the Florida Bar Exam with a 169 MBE Score, placing him in the upper percentile of all Florida Bar Exam test takers.

Upon graduating from law school, Ken turned down a job offer of writing criminal appeals for the Florida State Attorney General’s Office. Instead, he took a job with the Public Defender’s Office of Orlando, enabling him to work on as many cases as possible and litigate multiple trials before Florida Courts. During his tenure with the Office he took over 30 cases to trial. He was popular with his assigned clients inside the jails, and became known for his diligence, frequent jail visitations and communications, and the specialized attention he gave to each of his clients. Before leaving his position as a public defender, he committed himself to working in virtually every type of criminal court in Orlando. Accordingly, Ken spent lengthy periods of time handling Initial Appearances, Violations of Probation, Juvenile Delinquency Court, County Court (Misdemeanor Crime), and Circuit Court (Felony Crimes). Ken has worked on and litigated thousands of criminal cases, including several media cases and punishable-by-life offenses.

In his earlier years, Ken was a top achiever in his advanced program of classes in Los Angeles, California. After moving to Orlando in 1996, he graduated in the top ten percent of his high school class. He went to the University of Central Florida (UCF) on a Bright Future’s Scholarship in 2000, where he studied Criminal Justice and Pre-Law. During this time, he participated in “ride-alongs” with police, where he got a close look at criminal procedures and gained an understanding of criminal law.

Throughout his life, Ken was also a top athlete in both baseball and football, and has served as a mentor and assistant coach on baseball teams for Mentally and Physically Challenged Children. While at UCF, Ken walked on and made the UCF Knights’ football team. He credits his years as an athlete for the mental toughness that he brings to his legal practice.

Upon graduating from UCF, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree of Science with cum laude honors, Ken helped plan and run the first branch of the International Coffee Chain Testa Rosa, where he was offered advanced management training in Europe. Instead, he opted to spend a year in Los Angeles, where he worked as an actor and a writer, before returning to his first love: The Law..

Ken takes pride in offering the personal attention and vigorous defense that he believes every client is entitled to receive. He thrives in the kind of case research and preparation that has made him win many a tough case, whether it be a misdemeanor or a criminal felony.

Currently, Ken is fighting a Federal Bankruptcy Fraud case before the Middle District of Florida, as well as representing several criminal clients before the 9th Judicial Circuit, including a recent media case discussed by the Nancy Grace show.
