Family Law and Mediation

Attorney Jonathan Simon is a proud three-time graduate of the University of Florida, having earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Juris Doctorate degrees in just six years. In 2010 Jonathan founded The Orlando Family Firm with the desire to create a more cost effective and efficient way to represent clients in family law matters.

The Orlando Family Firm has been fortunate to experience rapid growth in the past year and the Firm now features eight attorneys practicing exclusively family law. The Firm recently opened its doors at its new location in the ground floor of the GAI Building. This brand-new facility features first class client accommodations, the newest legal technology and the ability to conduct various alternative dispute conferences.

The first priority of Mr. Simon and the firm is client satisfaction through effective representation. To that end, Jonathan has received a perfect 10 out of 10 ranking from and his profile features over 60 “5-star” reviews from clients. Jonathan has also been recognized as a Rising Star Super Lawyer for the last 3 consecutive years and has been recognized by The National Advocates as one of the top 100 family lawyers in the country and one of the top 10 family lawyers under the age of 40. Mr. Simon is an active member of the legal community, having served on the Board of the Central Florida Family Law Inns of Court, the Executive Association of Greater Orlando and has devoted a significant amount of time to the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association. This year, the 4th annual Firm Fest was held at the House of Blues and featured a performance by Sister Hazel. This year’s hosts included Daunte Culpepper, PJ Williams, Cornelius Ingram, Sean Spence and Nick Anderson who graciously donated their time to help raise desperately needed funds. Jonathan and the firm will continue their efforts to raise funds and awareness for those in need of legal services.

Perhaps the most exciting part of the last year has been the launch of a new division of The Orlando Family Firm, headed by former Circuit Judge Robert Evans, now retired and assisting lawyers with various methods of alternative dispute resolution. Florida Private Trials has been featured on the Drudge Report for its flagship program of “private trials”, which aims to reduce client costs, wait time and to alleviate an overly-burdened and underfunded judiciary.
