Even though he only recently founded his own law firm, Jack’s connections with Orlando’s legal community are three generations deep. While his grandfather (Leon Handley) and his father (Cliff Adams) have been among Florida’s most respected trial attorneys for decades, Jack is proud to build his own reputation as a dedicated, compassionate litigator, often representing clients that have been seriously hurt or have lost a family member as the result of negligence. Jack brings a unique perspective to his clients’ cases- he’s lived, worked, and studied on three continents, represented large international corporations, operated heavy equipment in multi-million dollar construction projects, and worked long hours in his family’s chicken farm in rural north Florida. This background drives Jack to understand his client’s problems; by creating meaningful relationships with the people he represents, solutions to even the most complex cases can be reached.

Prior to founding his own firm, Jack worked for one of Central Florida’s oldest and most respected personal injury law firms. He was also appointed to serve as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge G. Kendall Sharp and as an appellate law clerk for the Supreme Court of the United States Virgin Islands. He earned a degree in history from the University of Florida and graduated law school with honors from the Catholic University of America. Jack worked in the construction and agriculture industries and spent a year teaching English in rural China prior to attending law school. While at law school, Jack both edited and published in his school’s journal and worked as a research assistant to former Dean Ralph Rohner. In addition to practicing law, Jack serves as a director of the Lakeland Mine & Mill Industrial Supply Company, a relationship that began nearly one hundred years ago when his great-grandfather began working in the warehouse after his service in the First World War.

Jack Adams is an active member of the Florida Justice Association, the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association, the Federal Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association. Because of his service to the legal community, the Florida Supreme Court recognized Jack for his pro bono service and the President of the Florida Bar appointed Jack to the Federal Practice Committee. Jack is licensed and admitted to represent clients in all Florida Courts, including all Federal District Courts.
