Toss the green beer and add green to your diet the natural way with this holy trinity of green smoothies. Give your body an energy boost and indulge in antioxidants and vitamins; you may even feel like doing an Irish jig! Or use the smoothies to detox your body after the booze fest or bar crawl. (You can even indulge a bit by adding vodka to them…we won’t tell.)

Tropical Green Smoothie

1 to 2 cups frozen spinach
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1 medium ripe banana, peeled, frozen
1 cup your favorite berry
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
sweetener, to taste

-Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!

Strawberry Ginger Zinger

2 cups almond milk
2 cups baby spinach
2 cups strawberries
1 banana (frozen for a cold drink)
1 tablespoon grated ginger to taste

-Blend the spinach and almond milk until smooth.
-Add  the remaining ingredients,
and blend until smooth. Enjoy

Peach Coconut Dream

2 cups fresh spinach
1 cup coconut water, unsweetened
2 cups grapes, frozen
2 peaches

-Blend the spinach and coconut water until smooth.
-Add the remaining fruits and blend again. Enjoy
