Attorney, Donna C. Hung, focuses her downtown law practice in the areas of Family Law and Criminal Defense. Ms. Hung’s goal is to educate, negotiate, mediate and litigate to the best interests of her clients. The majority of cases Ms. Hung currently handles are domestic in nature and include, but are not limited to: divorce (uncontested and contested), paternity, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, modifications, domestic violence injunctions, father’s rights, etc. Her clients will tell you that it is Ms. Hung’s compassion, constant communication, knowledge, and professionalism that attract them to her boutique law office.

Ms. Hung began her legal career working as an Assistant State Attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Orange and Osceola counties. As a former prosecutor in Orlando and Kissimmee, Ms. Hung conducted numerous criminal jury trials, a majority of which resulted in guilty verdicts. Based on her stellar performance, she was chosen to be a special prosecutor handling all aspects of domestic violence for the state. Ms. Hung truly enjoyed litigating in court and because of her impressive courtroom presence, she was offered an associate position at a Family Law and Criminal Defense Law Firm where she quickly realized family law and criminal defense were her passion. Ms. Hung opened the Law Office of Donna C. Hung, P.A. in April of 2010 at the downtown Day Building near beautiful Lake Eola. Today her law office continues to grow.

Ms. Hung is a Charter Member of the Greater Orlando Asian American Bar Association where she served on the executive board and is also a member of the following organizations: Central Florida Family Law Inn of Court, Orange County Bar Association, Family Law Section of the Florida Bar Association, Asian American Chamber of Commerce, National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. Ms. Hung also served as past president of the Junior Chapter of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Greater Orlando and a director at Abuse Intervention Monitoring, Inc. which monitors Batterer’s Intervention Programs for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.

Ms. Hung graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and obtained her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. She is a 2013 and 2014 “Florida Rising Star” from Super Lawyers Magazine; nominated in 2013 as a “Woman Who Means Business” in Orlando Business Journal; and continues to maintain the top “Superb” rating on Avvo.com. Ms. Hung is admitted to practice in the Florida State Courts and the U.S. Middle District Court of Florida. Ms. Hung is fluent in spoken Taiwanese.
