Walsh Banks Law

For the last decade, Brian Walsh of Walsh Banks Law has contributed his extensive experience in business law practices to individuals, corporations and partnerships, banking institutions, and non-profit organizations, alike. A four-year recipient of the Rising Star Award by Florida Super Lawyer Magazine, Walsh holds a Distinguished rating from the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory.  In 2015, Walsh joined forces with fellow Central Florida based attorney, Brandon Banks, to form a partnership characterized by professionalism, expertise and above all, quality service for their clients.

Uniquely focused on helping clients navigate the challenges, risks and opportunities specific to matters such as banking and lending, corporate leasing and development, commercial finance, and business litigation, Walsh aims to help Central Florida-based organizations, and the individuals behind them, achieve their goals for success.

With clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to local non-profit organizations, including serving as outside general counsel for corporate clients, Walsh’s portfolio is as diversified as it is impressive, with more than $800 million in domestic and international merger and acquisition transactions and another $900 million worth of real estate sales and acquisitions over the last 10 years.

“We hope to help our clients in all facets of their business and professional lives.  Over the last several years, as business dynamics have changed, we’ve been honored to assist clients as they downsized, restructured and adjusted their philosophies in order to adapt to current market trends – with local, national and global variables impacting their decisions,” said Walsh. “Our clients continue to emerge with a more streamlined business model focused on overcoming new challenges, and, they are equipped for continued growth and prosperity in the future.”

Whether it’s expertly guiding business owners, coordinating the intricacies of complicated contract negotiations, helping a non-profit organization achieve tax-exempt status, or navigating complex commercial litigation matters, Walsh Banks Law can help.  The firm, located in Downtown Orlando, hopes to continue thriving and expanding for generations to come, and, as a testament to their vision for the future, they recently added Harold Morlan II, as Senior Trial Counsel.

Walsh earned his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University and his Masters in Federal Tax Law from the University of Miami.  He is an honors graduate of King’s College in Pennsylvania and enjoyed a 10-year paramedic career prior to becoming a lawyer.  Walsh is a member of The Florida Bar, as well as the American Bar Association and Orange County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court and is currently awaiting admission to the District of Columbia Bar.

He is a Licensed Title Insurance Agent with Old Republic Title and the Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund, and serves his community as legal counsel and a board member for Central Florida based 501(c)(3), Helping Other People Eat.

Regardless of the complexity of the matters he handles for his clients, Walsh prides himself in the fact that those that trust in his firm begin as clients and stay as friends.
