Ever since AnnMarie Jenkinson was a child, all she ever talked about was becoming an attorney. She enjoyed debating friends and family members, often playing devil’s advocate to sharpen her argument skills.

AnnMarie was born in New York, and eventually found her way to Orlando, Florida. AnnMarie prides herself on being a local attorney. She attended Bishop Moore High School in Orlando, Florida and attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. AnnMarie graduated Cum Laude from Rollins College with a Bachelors of Art in Political Science and a minor in Communication in 2005. In 2006, AnnMarie officially commenced her legal education at Barry University-Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida. Family is very important to AnnMarie, which is why it was imperative for her to stay local throughout her higher education.

During her education at Barry University, AnnMarie was President of the St. Thomas More Society, an organization whose purpose is to promote high ethical and moral standards in the legal profession. She also earned high honors in Healthcare Law and Trial Advocacy. AnnMarie also participated in a clinical internship at Barry University Children and Families Legal Clinic as a Certified Legal Intern. While attending classes at Barry University, AnnMarie also worked as a legal intern in private practice focusing in personal injury law.

Upon graduating law school in 2009 and passing the Florida Bar Exam on her first attempt, AnnMarie was quickly promoted to Associate Attorney within the same firm. In 2010, AnnMarie left the personal injury firm to pursue her true passion, family law, by joining Katz & Phillips, P.A. as an Associate Family Law Attorney.

AnnMarie has since been promoted to Senior Attorney at Katz & Phillips, P.A. During the past several years, AnnMarie has gained valuable litigation experience, and has become intimately familiar with several areas of family law.

She is an aggressive attorney and a determined advocate for her clients. She recently co-authored a divorce book, entitled “Filing Divorce in Florida?”

In addition to practicing law, AnnMarie enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris and daughter Adrianna. AnnMarie speaks Italian, and enjoys trying new foods, and learning about various cultures.
