Family Law Attorney
Andrew T. Windle has committed his legal career exclusively to the practice of family law. He has devoted his life’s work to helping families through the difficult times that divorce, modification, remarriage and relocation can present. Andrew draws from his personal and professional experience to cultivate strategies and solutions that are best suited to each client’s needs and situation.
In 2013, Andrew and his wife, Shanna N. Windle, opened The Windle Family Law Firm, focusing entirely on family law and trust and estate planning. Located in Baldwin Park, the firm seeks to deliver the highest level of service in planning for families, their finances, and futures by placing paramount importance on their clients’ trust and comfort.
Andrew is very involved in the legal community, particularly as it relates to family law matters. He is a member of the Central Florida Family Law American Inn of Court. He recently was appointed Counselor; additionally, he has served on the Executive Committee since 2011 and as the Chair of the Ethics Committee in 2012. He has been involved in the Florida Bar Family Law Section and has past and present service on various committees. Andrew is a member and active participant in the Collaborative Family Law Group of Central Florida and the International Academy of Collaborative Law Professionals. Furthermore, he serves as a mentor for young lawyers through the Orange County Bar Association. Amongst other community services and accolades, he has been recognized as a Harbor House Man of Honor.
Andrew graduated with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law and was in the top tenth percentile of his graduating class. While in law school, he began his legal career by representing indigent clients on a pro bono basis in family matters through the University of Baltimore’s Family Law Clinic. Additionally, he worked as a Judicial Clerk for a panel of U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Administrative Law Judges.
Prior to attending law school, Andrew earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from the Robert H. Smith School at University of Maryland, where he gained work experience that is useful in understanding accounting documents and uncovering under-reported income and hidden assets.
Since completing his education, Andrew has tried many cases and represented clients in appellate matters. He has published various articles on family law issues that include domestic violence and divorcing with a home that has negative equity.
Andrew enjoys the practice of family law. He finds it rewarding to help families take positive steps forward in creating a more fulfilling life.
