No. 1 Rising Star Attorney at Law

de Beaubien, Knight, Simmons, Mantzaris & Neal, LLP
is a full service law firm with offices in Orlando, Tampa and Tallahassee. One of the Firm’s guiding principles is enhancing the professional development and leadership skills within the associates. The Partners of the Firm provide their young lawyers the mentorship and opportunity to become the future of the Firm and community leaders. Allison is one of the Firm’s rising stars.

As a little girl, Allison was often told she’d make a great lawyer due to her stubborn and argumentative nature, which was evident at a very early age. As it turns out, those attributes make for fantastic litigators.

Allison grew up in Merritt Island, Florida and attended Brevard County Public Schools. She completed her undergraduate degree in Humanities at the University of Central Florida. Her studies focused on philosophy, religion, and popular culture – coursework she credits for teaching her how to think critically. Allison’s philosophical training has given her the ability to approach legal issues with ease, clarity, and precision.

In 2013, Allison graduated with honors from the Florida State University College of Law.  During law school, she was a member of the Journal of Land Use & Environmental Law, a College of Law Student Ambassador, and a member of the Women’s Law Symposium and Student Bar Association. While in law school, Allison gained practical courtroom experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable John D. Fry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, practical criminal litigation experience as a Certified Legal Intern with the Public Defender’s Office in Tallahassee, Florida, and practical civil litigation experience as a law clerk at a civil ligation firm in Tallahassee, Florida.

Upon graduation from FSU Law, Allison was awarded The Florida State University College of Law Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award. As a reflection of her commitment to public interest work, Allison returned to Orlando to accept a position as an assistant public defender, representing indigent clients in criminal court for one year prior to entering private practice. Allison continues her public interest work as a volunteer attorney for Legal Aid’s Homeless Advocacy Project.

Last year, Allison joined de Beaubien, Knight, Simmons, Mantzaris & Neal as an associate in their insurance defense and litigation practice groups. Allison also practices in premises liability, probate, and criminal appeals. She chairs the New Member Committee of the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and is active in the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce. She regularly volunteers with the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, most recently participating in projects benefiting Covenant House Florida and Second Harvest Food Bank.

In her free time, Allison enjoys taking her dog to the park and spending time with her nephew.
